Well, isn't Advent that sort of time?
The birth of Jesus, the Incarnation- could there have been another kairos moment like that?
For hundreds and hundreds of years, people were waiting for a Messiah. But they didn't just get a Messiah.
They got God Incarnate!
So they got more than they hoped for, more than they imagined, more than they could expect, and they almost missed it because He didn't come in the way they expected.
We don't want to be those people that miss the moment during Advent. We don't want to miss out on the best Christmas celebration.
We want to draw near to Him because we're not just hoping for a Messiah. We're not just hoping for a nice celebration; we're hoping for a deeper encounter with Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God.
He has been born among us, lives among us, and by His Holy Spirit dwells in us. So, this is a kairos moment, a powerful time, an extraordinary time!
