We have exciting news that we wanted to share with everyone about changes happening here at Heart of the Father Ministries.
Read some heartfelt words from Neal and Matt below!
From Neal:
As many of you know, we’ve been in a season of transition for the past couple of years. It’s been a bit like a relay race - and over time, Matt has been steadily taking the baton and stepping into more responsibility.
He’s been leading our conferences and training, helping develop our leadership, and working closely with our teams. And as of January 1st, he officially became the Executive Director of Heart of the Father Ministries. Our board unanimously approved his position, and I couldn’t be more grateful.
The ministry is in a strong place as Matt moves into this role. He’s surrounded by an incredible leadership and executive team, along with mature Regional Coordinators who’ve stepped up in powerful ways this past year. If you know Matt, you know how gifted he is. This is what he’s called to do. And Janet and I are deeply thankful knowing the ministry will continue to grow and expand under his leadership.
When I look back, watching this ministry develop has been amazing. We’ve seen God’s hand guiding us every step of the way - providing, leading, and shaping something far bigger than we ever imagined. And as I reflect on my own life, I can see how God has used everything - both the good seasons and the hard ones - to give birth to Unbound and Heart of the Father Ministries.
Janet and I will be slowing down, but we’re not going anywhere. We’ll continue serving through what we’re calling the Office of the Founder - participating in conferences, mentoring leaders, and offering practical support as the ministry grows. We’re also excited about new opportunities to serve priests and pastors in new ways. And of course, we'll continue to be available to all of you we've come to know and love over the years.
This isn’t an ending for us. It’s really a new beginning. I believe it will lead to worldwide growth with the fresh energy, creativity and anointing that Matt and Jenn and their team will bring. It's like passing the torch to the next generation of runners who are ready to take it further than we ever imagined.
From Matt:
Heart of the Father Ministries has always been about the Father’s heart - revealing His love, restoring identity, and bringing freedom to His sons and daughters. I am deeply honored to step into the role of Executive Director, not to change that mission, but to steward it faithfully into the future.
I want to take a moment to express gratitude to my parents, our founders, Neal and Janet Lozano, who have led before me, who have prayed, sacrificed, and labored with faithfulness. We stand on holy ground because of their obedience. I’m committed to honoring that legacy while also listening closely to what the Lord is doing now.
As we move forward, my heart is simple: that everything we do would help people encounter the Father more deeply and walk in greater freedom. That we would remain rooted in prayer and grounded in humility. And that we would continue to serve the Church by equipping her with Unbound ministry, and doing so with integrity and compassion.
I don’t step into this role alone. I am grateful for our staff, our board, our regional coordinators, volunteers, and our donors around the world. This is a shared calling, and I believe the best days of Heart of the Father Ministries are still ahead.
